Excellence of observing fast on the day of ‘ARAFAH or YAUM-‘ARAFAH.

It is recommended to fast on the First nine days of Dhul-Hijjah especially on the 9th, Which is the blessed day of ‘Arafah.

As H. Abu Qatadah (R.A) reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was asked about the observance of Saum (fasting) on the day of Arafah. He said, “ it is an expiation

for the sins of preceding year im, Ch: 227, Hadith no: 1250].

The ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah is called Yaum-‘Arafah. On this day, pilgrims stop and stand in prayers at “Arafat which is the most important ritual of Hajj, so much so that Hajj is considered incomplete without it. On that day the Pilgrims are involved in the remembrance of Allah and prayers as, that is most important worship on that day. For this reason, Saum is not desirable for them, but for Other people, Saum has a special virtue. The importance and the merit of this Saum can be Judged from the fact that it expiates sins for two consecutive years i.e the previous year and the current year. But these sins relate only to minors sins, not the major ones.

Therefore, we should try our utmost to fast and offer Nafl-Salah, try to offer Tahajjud/Qayam-ul-lail and spend much time in Sujood and ask for forgiveness, Recite Qur'an and try to understand as much as we can; in these blessed 9 days of Dhul-Hijjah, particularly the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah which is the day of ‘Arafah and if not, then we should at least fast as many as we can possibly can, as we may not get this opportunity again next year as life is uncertainty and we should never delay on doing good deeds.

May Allah( swt) give all of us the opportunity to gain more and more benefits from these blessed days.

Today I learnt something new…. A natural cancer vaccine!!

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah wants the best for us and does not want us to have cancer or any other disease and as long as we read and implement the Qura’an we will never suffer In shaa Allah, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah says: (We have not sent down to you the Qura'an that you be distressed) 20:2

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah placed in each and every one of us a gland in our head called the Pineal gland, it is considered to be the biological clock of the human body and it is also connected to the sight nerve. It is so small like a size of a pea. Every day after Isha this glands start producing a substance called Melatonin which runs in the blood streams and protects the body from cancer. This gland works only in the dark so if the eye is exposed to light the gland does not work because it thinks night has not come yet. So if you stay up at night in the light you are depriving your body from this daily vaccine. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah says: (We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible ) 17:12

THE UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF THE PROPHET

THE UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF THE PROPHET

by-Zeki Saritoprak,( www.infinitelight.org )

Theologically speaking, the universality of the Prophet Muhammad’s message, peace and blessings be upon him, comes from the concept of one God who is the God of all, not only the God of Muslims. God describes Himself in the first chapter of the Qur’an, which is recited by all Muslims around the world in their five daily prayers; He is the God of all creation, “Rabb al-AlamÄ«n.” Whether humans are aware of this fact or not, God is the God of all mankind—Muslims, Christians, atheists, etc.—regardless of their differences. God is the creator of everything, with no exception. The Qur’an declares that a gigantic star and an atom are shoulder to shoulder, worshiping the same God; a fly and an elephant are brothers and sisters; all of creation is here to help us understand the meaning and the mystery of the universe.
