THE UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF THE PROPHET

THE UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF THE PROPHET

by-Zeki Saritoprak,( www.infinitelight.org )

Theologically speaking, the universality of the Prophet Muhammad’s message, peace and blessings be upon him, comes from the concept of one God who is the God of all, not only the God of Muslims. God describes Himself in the first chapter of the Qur’an, which is recited by all Muslims around the world in their five daily prayers; He is the God of all creation, “Rabb al-Alamīn.” Whether humans are aware of this fact or not, God is the God of all mankind—Muslims, Christians, atheists, etc.—regardless of their differences. God is the creator of everything, with no exception. The Qur’an declares that a gigantic star and an atom are shoulder to shoulder, worshiping the same God; a fly and an elephant are brothers and sisters; all of creation is here to help us understand the meaning and the mystery of the universe.

Importance of mother in Islam – The Story of H. Alqamah (radi Allahu anhu)

Importance of mother in Islam –
The Story of H. Alqamah (radi Allahu anhu)

“Alqamah (radi Allahu anhu) was a very pious person. He spent his time in prayer and fasting. At the approach of death he was unable to proclaim the Kalima Shahada, in spite of repeated instruction by those present. Alqamah’s wife sent a messenger to Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) to inform him of Alqamah’s grave condition.
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) enquired whether the parents of Alqamah were alive. He was informed that Alqamah’s mother was alive. Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) asked the aged mother about Alqamah. She replied: ‘Alqamah is a very pious person. He passes his time in Salat and Saum. He performs Tahajjud, but he always disobeys me for the sake of his wife. I am, therefore, displeased with him.’
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘It will be best for him if you forgive him.’ However, she refused. Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered Bilal (radi Allahu anhu) to gather firewood. On hearing this order, Alqamah’s mother asked in consternation: ‘Will my child be burnt in the fire?’

The Importance of Hajj for Muslims

Hajj is considered to be one of the most significant deeds for all the Muslims around the world. Every Muslim has a dream to visit this holy place and to offer prayers and to ask for forgiveness and live a better life ahead.

Hajj is the divine and the most pious ritual that every Muslim has to offer once in a lifetime. Hajj means that people need to make a visit to the holy place in the Saudi Arabia which is commonly known as the city of Mecca. It is considered as the most sacred and one of the pillars in Islam. It is said if the Almighty has provided you with enough amount of wealth you should first visit this place and enrich yourself.

History of Hajj

The Hajj as we know is one of the most important activities performed by the Muslims. This ritual started by Prophet Ibraheem (A.S). He was bestowed by Allah as a messenger to the people for teaching people the path of virtue and righteousness. It was once that the Almighty had ordained Prophet Ibraheem (A.S) to build the Kaabah along with his son Hadrat Ishmael (A.S) at Makkah. The Prophet with no excuses and with hardcore efficiency started building the Kaabah.

It so happened once that the Prophet had to leave his wife H. Hajra (R.A) and his son Ishmael by the command of Allah and visit the deserts for some time.
